In a statement to People, Woolever says it “will allow Tony’s fans and followers to continue to travel in his footsteps.” According to People, which first shared the news, much of the book was written before Bourdain’s death. ![]() The publisher Ecco describes it as “a guide to some of the world’s most fascinating places,” or a travel guide through the eyes and experiences of Bourdain. Written with his longtime assistant Laurie Woolever, the writer who also co-authored his last cookbook Appetites, it’s called World Travel: An Irreverent Guide. It is full of wit, entertaining antidotes, and sprinkled with useful tips throughout. ![]() This is a guide designed for Bourdain super fans and those inspired by his way of travels. A book that the late Anthony Bourdain was working on before his death will be published on October 13. World Travel: An Irreverent Guide is less practical and more of an inspiration guide to some of Bourdain’s favorite places. ![]()
